EECon 2026 – Author Guidelines
Paper Submissions
- All papers should be written in English.
- All submissions must follow the official IEEE conference paper template and formatting guidelines.
- Maximum length of a paper is limited to 6 printed A4 pages in given format.
- Manuscripts must comply with double-blind submission requirements:
- Do NOT include any authors' information such as name, affiliations, e-mail, etc. in the initial manuscript.
- Do NOT include any grant information or personal acknowledgements in the initial manuscript.
- All references including authors' previous work should be referred as 3rd-persons' works.
Submission Guidelines
- All paper submissions are through Conference Management System, EasyChair.
- 1st time users need to create a new account in the Conference Management System. Please use your institutional e-mail address while registering.
- While submitting a paper, select the most appropriate Track for your paper.
- Manuscript submission should be in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) only. Once accepted, all Camera-Ready papers should be in IEEE compliant format.
- Manuscripts that do not conform to the above formatting guidelines will not be considered. If you experience any font embedding issues while uploading the paper, please follow IEEE instructions.
- All authors are requested to carefully revise the manuscript for language and formatting.
- All submitted manuscripts will undergo a plagiarism check using a suitable tool. The similarity index should be less than 35%.
- Please contact us if you have any questions regarding your submission or experience any issues while submitting your manuscript.
Paper Withdrawal Policy
EECon strongly discourages changes and, in particular, withdrawals of papers once submitted and included in the program. To avoid the likelihood of this, authors are strongly encouraged to get all necessary company and/or government approvals prior to submitting the paper to the conference.
If under any circumstances it becomes necessary for the author(s) to withdraw or change a paper, EECon policy dictates applicable guidelines.
Desk Rejection Criteria
- Manuscripts exceeding the 6-page limit (including references) or violating double-blind submission will be desk-rejected.
- All authors must be added in the Conference Management System before submission; additions afterward are not allowed.
- Do not apply security settings to the PDF.
- Submissions that are primarily review papers, survey articles, literature summaries, tutorial-style manuscripts, or project reports will not be accepted.
- Deviations from these specifications may impede review and result in desk-rejection.
Policy on Using Large Language Models (LLMs)
When submitting a manuscript, authors confirm they have read, understood, and followed the rules for acceptable use of LLMs.
Acceptable Uses:- Improving language and clarity during editing.
- Accelerating core development and visualization.
- Supporting research and ideation, such as identifying related work or reviewing ideas.
Unacceptable Uses:- Using an LLM to generate most or significant parts of a manuscript.
- Directly using LLM-generated content without verification of correctness.
- Using LLM-generated text in any section without thorough checking.
